More About Me

Choosing a Realtor

What kind of Realtor do you want to work with? When you choose a Realtor to help you with buying or selling your home, it’s important to think about the fact that you are forming a new relationship with this person. Is this someone you enjoy spending time with? Someone you can talk to easily who listens to what you say? Someone you can trust? I like to say that your relationship with your Realtor is like a marriage – you only need one good one for life!

A little about me

I have lived in the Spokane area since 1998 when my husband and our three children relocated here from Central Florida. My career before real estate was in banking, primarily the lending field. Our home is now in the Nine Mile Falls area.
I love to look at houses and I like to meet new people, so this has become the perfect career for me. I am a Realtor because I genuinely enjoy helping people fulfill their “home” dreams. My reward comes from knowing I was a part of helping my clients buy or sell a home.

Special information for buyers

If you select me to help you buy a home, the first thing we will do is talk extensively about what your needs are in a home. Many people have a “dream” home in mind but when they actually start looking at homes, they realize that their dreams aren’t practical and they need to adjust what will truly work best for them. I am extremely patient and will work with you until we find a good match. I will never attempt to talk you into buying a home that you are hesitant about.
The decision is yours – my role is to guide you through the process and make sure you are represented through the transaction. You will receive complete information about each home and we'll determine whether or not it is priced appropriately. I'll handle all the details to get you through the closing process with minimal stress. Then you can be on your way to moving into your dream home!

Special information for sellers

As your agent, I will help you prepare your home for the quickest sale. There are three things that affect whether or not a home will sell – 1) Its current condition; 2) Its price; 3) The buying market. The first two are controllable by you as the seller. The market is not controlled by anyone other than the current level of available buyers. That is why it’s so important to get your home in top condition for selling and also to price it appropriately for what the current market is paying for other similar homes.
The Internet is the home shopping mall of today’s buyers. I will have professional photos taken of your home and set up a photo tour of your home on the Windermere web site, along with many other websites. This way, your home can be shown to prospective buyers 24 hours a day. When an offer is received, we will go through it completely to determine how best to respond. Then you can be on your way to fulfilling your next home dream!
